Our History

How it all began

**2014-2015** Enhancv was founded in Sofia, Bulgaria, by three friends on a mission to help people craft better resumes. By the end of 2015, the first version of the platform had been launched—focused on delivering a simple, delightful user experience—and the first team member was hired.

New features and first hires

**2016** A big year for growth: new tools like Invite Friends, Content Analyzer, and Ask for Feedback launched. The team expanded to 14 members, including our first remote employee. Meanwhile, Marissa Mayer’s resume, redesigned by Enhancv, broke the Internet and brought widespread attention to our work.

A year of change

**2017** This was a year of transformation. The company said goodbye to one of its founders and several incredible team members. But it was also a year of momentum: Joey’s Dating Resume went viral on Bored Panda, leading to features in Business Insider and other major outlets. More remote Enhancers joined the mission.

Going bigger

**2018** We moved into a vibrant new office in Sofia and launched the much-anticipated cover letter feature. Enhancv was recognized in Fast Company, Glassdoor, and more, continuing to build on our growing reputation as a career-building tool people love.
